Prosthetics and makeup artist who entered feature films as a creature effects technician for Russell Mulcahy's TALE OF THE MUMMY (1998). She worked as a key makeup artist at Howard Berger's K.N.B. EFX Group on 2001's SOULKEEPER. Then she worked on prosthetic makeup at Richard Taylor's Weta Workshop on Peter Jackson's LORD OF THE RINGS trilogy (2001-2003). Lane worked as a hair stylist and makeup artist on WITHOUT A PADDLE (2004), and (back at K.N.B.) as key prosthetic makeup artist for THE CHRONICLES OF NARNIA: THE LION, THE WITCH AND THE WARDROBE (2005), for which she shared an Academy Award®. Subsequent credits include SUPERMAN RETURNS (2006, makeup artist), THE HILLS HAVE EYES II (on-set makeup artist) and UNDERDOG (painter, K.N.B. EFX Group) (both 2007), and THE CHRONICLES OF NARNIA: PRINCE CASPIAN (prosthetic makeup artist: K.N.B.).
