Born Elio Cesari in Milan, Italy. A singer and actor in Italian film from the late 1950s, he composed scores or songs for NON MI DIRE MAI GOODBYE (1967), EN ESTA CAMA NADIE DUERME (1971) and BLU GANG VISSERO PER SEMPRE FELICI E AMMAZZATI / THE SHORT AND HAPPY LIFE OF BROTHERS BLUE (1973). His song award-winning song "Quando, Quando, Quando", composed in 1962, has been used in several films, most recently SUPERMAN RETURNS (2006). Renis is a music producer of artists such as Céline Dion and Andrea Bocelli.
