Film editor who entered American film as an assistant editor on THE WARRIORS (1979). She assisted on THE LONG RIDERS and RAGING BULL (both 1980), RAGTIME and SOUTHERN COMFORT (both 1981), MAST and SPIES LIKE US (both 1985), ¡THREE AMIGOS! (1986) and VIBES and THE ACCIDENTAL TOURIST (1988). Her first solo effort was SOLO (1984). Since then, her other notable editing credits include BOB ROBERTS (1992), REALITY BITS (1994), UNSTRUNG HEROES and DEAD MAN WALKING (both 1995), GATTACA (1997), "From the Earth to the Moon" (1998 TV mini-series, parts 2 & 11), 200 CIGARETTES (1999), THE WEDDING PLANNER (2001), MOONLIGHT MILE and WAKING UP IN RENO (both 2002), HOUSE OF SAND AND FOG (2003), MOZART AND THE WHALE and IN HER SHOES (both 2005), THE LAST KISS (2006), TENDERNESS (scheduled for 2008), and PRIDE AND GLORY (scheduled for release in 2009).
