Albert Nozaki
(1912 - 2003)

Born in Tokyo, Japan. Art director who entered American film with CHAMPAGNE FOR TWO (1947) at Paramount. His other credits at the studio include THE BIG CLOCK (1948), SORROWFUL JONES (1949), WHEN WORLDS COLLIDE (1951), PONY EXPRESS, HOUDINI and THE WAR OF THE WORLDS (all 1953), CASANOVA'S BIG NIGHT and LIVING IT UP (both 1954), THE TEN COMMANDMENTS (1956), LOVING YOU (1957), THE BUCCANEER (1958) and the 1959 made-for-TV movie, "Destination Space."

Nozaki retired in 1969 on account of retinitis pigmentosa, an eye ailment that cost him his sight.
